Before travelling to Türkiye: prepare your eSIM

Buy your eSIM, save the installation instructions and check your plan’s activation policy before departure. Install it over a reliable internet connection at the time recommended for your plan. Installation and the start of validity are not necessarily the same: if validity starts at installation, install close to your travel date. Contact support before installing if you are unsure.

Mobile data for your trip to Türkiye

Use a prepaid travel eSIM for maps, reservations and online communication without swapping a physical SIM. Choose your data allowance and validity period according to your itinerary and expected usage. Video streaming, backups and hotspot sharing can use substantially more data than messaging.

Check your device and plan

Your phone must support eSIM and be carrier-unlocked. Check the exact model and regional variant in our compatible devices guide. Review the selected plan’s price, coverage, validity and any daily allowances or fair-use limits before purchase. Available networks and speeds vary by location, device and network conditions; continuous coverage or 5G is not guaranteed everywhere.

Connect when you arrive

Follow your order’s setup instructions. Select the travel eSIM for mobile data and enable roaming on that line if instructed. Turn off data roaming and automatic data switching for your home line to avoid unintended data use. Keeping your home line enabled for calls and texts may still incur charges under your carrier’s terms.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, a data plan does not include a local phone number, regular calls or SMS. See our installation guide for help. If setup fails, contact support before deleting the eSIM profile.
