eSIM-compatible devices
Check your phone’s eSIM support before your trip. Versions of the same model sold in different countries can have different capabilities.
Before you buy
- Check the exact model number and country of purchase.
- Your phone must accept SIMs and eSIM profiles from other providers. If it is carrier-locked, contact your carrier.
- Look for the add-eSIM option in the menus below. If it is missing, confirm support with the manufacturer or our support team before buying.
Device guide by brand
These are common model examples, not an exhaustive list or a compatibility guarantee. Regional variants, model versions and carrier restrictions apply.
Apple iPhone
iPhone XS, XS Max, XR and later eSIM-enabled iPhone models; iPhone SE (2nd and 3rd generation). Models from mainland China, Hong Kong and Macao have specific exceptions.

eSIM-enabled Galaxy S20–S25 models (standard, + and Ultra). Check exact model numbers separately for FE, A, Note and foldable devices in the manufacturer’s list.

Pixel 4 and later eSIM-enabled Pixel models. Pixel 3 and 3a have additional limitations depending on the country of purchase and carrier.

Support on Xiaomi, Motorola, Huawei, Honor, OPPO, Sony and other brands varies by model and region. Confirm eSIM support in the manufacturer’s specifications for your exact model, not just its series.
Check on your phone
Menu labels may vary by software version and language. An add-eSIM option is an indicator; carrier locks and plan requirements still need to be checked.
- iPhone
- Settings → Cellular / Mobile Data → Add eSIM
- Samsung Galaxy
- Settings → Connections → SIM manager → Add eSIM
- Google Pixel
- Settings → Network & internet → SIMs → Add SIM → Set up an eSIM
Tablets and smartwatches
For tablets, check both the mobile-connected version and eSIM support. An eSIM-enabled smartwatch cannot automatically use a travel plan intended for phones. Confirm device and plan support before buying.
