For lighter use, compare 3 GB for 15 days. If you expect to use more mobile data, consider 10 GB for 30 days. Check the selected package's current price and terms before purchase. Unused data does not make the validity period longer.

Set up before you travel

Use a reliable internet connection to install your eSIM and follow the instructions provided with your purchase. The Egypt packages checked for this page start their validity period on the first connection to a supported network in Egypt, rather than when you buy them.

On arrival, select the Egypt eSIM for mobile data and enable data roaming for that eSIM as instructed. Disable data roaming on your home SIM and avoid automatic mobile-data switching if you do not want that line used for data. Actual coverage and speed depend on your location, device, network conditions and the package. A listed network or technology is not a guarantee of reception or 5G at every hotel, resort or remote location.

When do the 30 days start?

For the featured Egypt 5 GB package, the validity period begins on its first connection to a supported network in Egypt. Buying the plan does not itself start the 30 days. Install it using the supplied instructions and check any installation deadline shown with your order.

Is the 5 GB allowance renewed every day?

No. It is 5 GB in total for use within the 30-day validity period, not a daily allowance or an unlimited data plan. Monitor your usage, especially when streaming or sharing a connection.

Can I share the connection with a laptop?

The supplier supports hotspot sharing on devices that allow it. Shared data comes out of the same package allowance. Device settings and any supplied APN instructions still apply.

Does this replace my normal phone number and SMS service?

Treat this as a mobile data plan, not a replacement for your home voice and SMS service. Keep access to your usual number if you need bank verification texts; your home carrier's availability and charges apply.

Can I keep my usual SIM in the phone?

On a compatible dual-SIM device, you can keep your usual line and choose the travel eSIM for mobile data. Check your device's active-SIM limits. Turning off home-line data roaming does not remove possible call or SMS charges.

Is there coverage everywhere in Egypt?

No mobile service can be assumed to work everywhere. Coverage may vary inside buildings, outside towns and in remote areas. If connectivity at a particular location is essential, contact support before purchase with your itinerary and chosen package.

How do I choose between 3 GB, 5 GB and 10 GB?
