Plan mobile data for your Maldives trip

Open transfer details in Malé, message your accommodation or let family know you have arrived. Compare eSIMoon Maldives eSIM plans by data allowance and validity before travelling. With a compatible, carrier-unlocked phone, you do not need to replace a physical SIM card.

Check coverage for your island first

Do not choose solely by the country name. Review the selected plan’s coverage information for your island and the area around your accommodation. If the details are insufficient, ask support before buying. An uninterrupted connection is not promised during boat transfers or at sea.

Plan around hotel Wi-Fi and mobile data

Ask your accommodation about its Wi-Fi service before deciding how much mobile data you need. Messaging, photo uploads and video calls use different amounts of data. If you want to connect another device, check the hotspot conditions; shared usage comes out of the same data allowance.

Arrive prepared for setup

Check device compatibility and when validity begins. Save the instructions and transfer details, then install with a reliable internet connection at the recommended time. Network availability and speed depend on location, device and local conditions. Your selected plan shows the current price, data and validity. Check separately whether a phone number, regular calls or SMS are included.
